Preparing Your Application for Admission by Exam to the Wyoming State Bar

Begin by reading and becoming familiar with the Rules & Procedures Governing Admission to the Practice of Law in Wyoming.
Then print and follow the Exam Application Checklist. Follow each step carefully, making sure to read all instructions completely.
Required forms:
National Conference of Bar Examiners NCBE Request for Preparation of a Character Report - begin the process online and submit a printed copy when your application is filed. Incomplete NCBE applications will not be processed.
Review the Exam Application Checklist carefully. Assemble all completed forms, making a copy for your records. Be sure to include $600, payable to the Wyoming Supreme Court, as well as the appropriate amount payable to the NCBE. Send your complete application packet to:

If you have a change to your application after filing it with the Wyoming Supreme Court, complete and print the Amendment to Application (PDF 68K) form. Mail the form to the Wyoming Supreme Court.
