As we have previously announced, the Wyoming State Bar is seeking FULL-TIME Bar Counsel in Cheyenne to administer the lawyer discipline process in Wyoming, and other duties as assigned. We have received several inquiries that indicate our announcement needed further explanation concerning our expectations. Bar Counsel duties include reviewing, investigating and negotiating disposition of complaints and representing the Wyoming State Bar in attorney discipline-related hearings. JD with active Wyoming license required. Broad civil and criminal practice experience (including litigation) preferred.

Salary:
Up to $125,000, depending upon experience. Benefits include health insurance and Wyoming State retirement.
