How much are my License Fees?

Annual License Fee

Attorneys pay an annual license fee based on the following schedule as approved by the Wyoming Supreme Court and the Bylaws of the Wyoming State Bar, Article 1, Section 5.

Payments may be made no earlier than October 1st and are due November 30th, except when a person is first admitted. For newly admitted members, the annual license fee shall be prorated on a monthly basis beginning with the month of admission (see below). New admittees’ license fees shall be due 60 days after the date of admission.

Late Payment Fee

License fees must be paid or postmarked by November 30th. Attorneys who have failed to pay by the deadline will be assessed a $50 late fee. Attorneys who have failed to pay by December 15th may be suspended from the practice of law. Newly admitted lawyers will be assessed a $50 late fee if the license fee is not paid by 60 days after the date of admission. Those attorneys who fail to pay within 75 days of their admission may be suspended from the practice of law.
