PUBLIC NOTICE – Reappointment of U.S. Magistrate Judge Teresa M. McKee
The United States District Court for the District of Wyoming is required to establish a panel of citizens to consider the reappointment of Teresa M. McKee at Lander, Wyoming, for a new term of office as part-time United States Magistrate Judge and for that purpose has established a panel consisting of the Honorable Kelly H. Rankin, Chairman, Jason M. Conder, James T. Whiting and Ivan D. Posey.
The duties of the office of part-time magistrate judges are as follows: The trial and disposition of federal misdemeanor cases; the handling of initial proceedings in federal criminal cases and such additional duties as delegated by the judges of the U.S. District Court to assist them in expediting the civil and criminal caseloads.
U. S. Magistrate Judge McKee’s term of office expires on June 30, 2018. The public is invited to submit comments concerning the reappointment of U.S. Magistrate Judge McKee to the Honorable Kelly H. Rankin, 2120 Capitol Avenue, Room 2204, Cheyenne, WY 82001, no later than March 30, 2018.
