Gee Elected to Wyoming State Bar Governing Board
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Alison O. Gee, an attorney from Gillette, Wyoming, has been elected to serve as the Sixth Judicial District Commissioner. The Sixth Judicial District includes Campbell, Crook and Weston Counties.
The 2019/2020 Election of Officers was held according to Article II, Section 1 and Article VI of the Bylaws of the Wyoming State Bar. The results of the election were announced last week in Jackson, Wyoming, at the Bar’s Annual Business Meeting.
Gee is a member of Lubnau Law in Gillette, Wyoming. She is a Wyoming native and has practiced law in Wyoming for the past 14 years in the areas of healthcare law, real estate, minerals, estate and tax planning, probate, and business formation and planning. Alison is a graduate of the University of Wyoming (BA), where she was a member of the rodeo team; the University of Colorado (JD), which does not have a very good rodeo team; and the University of Alabama (LLM Taxation), which seems to only care about football.
Gee serves on the Board for Powder River Energy Corporation and is the former Chairman of the Wyoming Community Foundation. She is married to Shaun Gee and they have three children. Alison and her family enjoy rodeo, snow skiing, hiking, fly fishing, and enjoying Wyoming’s open spaces.
The Board of Officers and Commissioners is responsible for overseeing the affairs of the Wyoming State Bar. It consists of the four officers, the immediate past president, and nine commissioners—one from each of Wyoming’s nine judicial districts.
