Contemporary Art: What Does It Mean to Be a Modern Law Firm Now?
December 10, 2024 11:00 AM-12:00 PM
It’s hard to believe; but we’re almost smack dab in the middle of the 2020s. It’s been 5 years since the COVID-19 pandemic struck. In addition to changing society as a whole, the pandemic also irrevocably altered law firm management. But, as some law firms seem to be taking steps back: like asking attorneys and staff to return to an office setting, it begs the question – What is a modern law firm supposed to be now?
In this program, we’ll seek to identify that moving target, by outlining the characteristics of modernity for solo and small law firms. If you feel like you’re backsliding on some of the advancements you made in the early part of the decade, we’ll address how you can keep things moving in a positive direction.
Since law firm owners have always been a risk-averse set, attorneys have had the ability to gain a significant competitive advantage by pushing their practices to the cutting edge – and that’s still the case. Now, you can find out just what that means.
Specific topics to be addressed include:
• Virtual law practice
• Remote workers
• Local-focused web marketing
• Digital processes
• Technology adoption
• Alternative business structures
