CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Jesse K. Fishman, an attorney from Cheyenne, Wyoming, has been elected to serve as President of the Young Lawyers Section. She will serve for one year.
Fishman succeeds Caitlin Young also of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
A native of Ohio, Fishman was drawn to the west and has lived in the Rocky Mountain region since 2003. She joined Hathaway & Kunz in December 2014. Her practice focuses on business formation, commercial litigation, property disputes, and personal injury matters. She also advises clients on a broad range of employment and transactional matters, including entrepreneurial and start-up issues. Before joining Hathaway & Kunz, Fishman worked at an insurance defense firm in Denver handling cases involving personal injury, professional liability, employment law, and municipal defense.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Fishman founded and ran a small business where she designed, imported, and sold accessories from India. She also worked for an organization that recruited and trained women to run for political office.
In her capacity as President of the Young Lawyers Section, Fishman will serve as an Ex-Officio member of the Bar’s Board of Officers & Commissioners.
