Wyoming Supreme Court Suspends Riverton Lawyer

The Wyoming Supreme Court today issued an Order of Immediate Suspension of Riverton lawyer, David B. Hooper. The order was issued pursuant to the Wyoming Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, which provide that within 15 days of the entry of an order of immediate suspension, Bar Counsel shall file a formal charge against the suspended lawyer. Hooper’s suspension is effective immediately, pending final resolution of the formal charge. Hooper was ordered to comply with the rule regarding required action after suspension, including notice to clients, notice to parties in litigation and return of client property.
